MEET MEGAN

Megan Joyce, LAc FABORM

I'm a licensed acupuncturist and functional medicine practitioner specializing in women's health, fertility, and integrative family care. For over sixteen years, I've dedicated my life's work to understanding the root causes of what keeps people from feeling well: from hormonal imbalance and fertility struggles to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the health of a whole family. I'm based in San Juan Capistrano, where I offer in-person Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Mind Body Wellness Center. I also offer fully virtual Functional Medicine programs for patients throughout California.

My path into this work began studying bio-psychology, and the fascination in the mind-body connection has never left me. I believe the most powerful healing addresses not just a person’s symptoms, but also the emotions and experiences surrounding their health. Every plan I create is fully customized, including functional medicine testing, herbal medicine, neutraceuticals, and dietary and lifestyle counseling. For patients who come in person, acupuncture sessions can also include acupressure, ear seeds, gua sha, cupping, and moxibustion… all time-honored practices that help restore balance and support the body's natural ability to heal.

It would be my honor to walk part of this path with you.

Why this work is personal

I naturally reversed my own infertility due to PCOS/PMOS, an experience that shaped everything about how I practice and led to the greatest joy of my life, my two children.

I believe fertility is something we support rather than force, and that my work is not only to help people get pregnant, but to help them thrive through pregnancy and into parenthood. Knowing firsthand how isolating and overwhelming fertility challenges can be, I bring both clinical expertise and deep empathy to every person I work with.

The Joyce Wellness Approach

Every care plan is built entirely around the individual, always holistic, always personalized, and always rooted in a deep respect for the whole person.

01

Listen deeply

Every patient begins with a thorough, unhurried conversation about their full health history, their goals, and what has and hasn’t worked before.

02

Treat the whole person

A care plan drawing from the full spectrum of Traditional Chinese Medicine and functional medicine, addressing root causes rather than isolated symptoms.

03

Walk alongside you

Care that evolves as your body, your needs, and your life change, with support at every stage of the journey. You are never left to navigate the path on your own.
