With greater technological advances in modern medicine, we have lost sight of the most basic and most important medical treatment of all: nutritious food. Every time we sit down for a meal there is an opportunity to satisfy our taste buds as well as fuel our bodies. Megan Joyce honors this truth by providing customized nutritional counseling that is based on each individual patient’s needs. Using a whole foods approach, we combine modern research on food biochemistry with the fundamentals of oriental medicine nutritional therapy. We help patients discover their metabolic type so that food choices can be made to optimize brain and body function, while helping to alleviate acute medical conditions. For our female patients we teach the principles of “cycle syncing”.  This form of nutritional therapy allows patients to make food choices that provide micronutrient support for each phase of the menstrual cycle to support hormone regulation and improve fertility.
